In 2023, the computer systems and design service sector secured the highest federal contract allocation in DC, totaling $5.2 billion and retaining this top position for the third consecutive year. This sector has consistently experienced an average annual growth of 8% since 2015, focusing on designing integrated computer systems spanning hardware, software, and communication technologies.
Chemonics International, Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte Consulting, Accenture Federal Services, and General Dynamics Information Technology emerged as the top five recipients of federal contracts in DC for FY 2023. Together, they captured 12.5% of total contract funding, ranging from $583 million to $918 million per entity.
