, ’70s-Themed Restaurant/Bar Coming to San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter – Robert Khodadadian, Robert Khodadadian

Urban Property Group (UPG) has secured the lease of 12,000 square feet for ’70s-themed restaurant/bar Good Night John Boy at 401 G St. in Downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. The establishment takes over the space previously occupied by The Tin Roof and is slated to open in early Spring 2024.

The vintage nightclub concept is the first Good Night John Boy on the West Coast and the fifth location in the nation. The nostalgic theme features disco balls, an LED dance floor, ‘70s-era music and more.

Good Night John Boy is part of Forward Hospitality Group (FHG), a Cleveland-based food and beverage operator with multiple restaurant and entertainment locations. “We are thrilled for our San Diego expansion and anticipate our concept to be very successful here,” said FHG CEO Michael Schwartz.

UPG’s Dave Maxwell and Bill Schrader represented the landlord. FHG was represented by Main & Main.
