Ascension Seton has started work on its women’s tower in Austin. The tower will cost $320 million and is part of a broader expansion of Ascension Seton’s women’s health services across Texas. It will provide advanced women’s clinical services, including urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, breast diagnostics and surgery. The facility will also allow for increased patient capacity and training space for future caregivers.

When completed in the spring of 2025, the facility will have capacity for 7,500 deliveries a year. It will include neonatal intensive care units and C-section suites. There will be areas for minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries and an expanded antepartum space, and more:

Dedicated OB-GYN emergency department;

Teaching and learning center; and

Growth for other women’s services.

The tower will be built on the south side of the Ascension Seton Medical Center campus, at W. 38th St., Austin.

Robert Khodadadian has long had a simple philosophy about selling real estate. There are approximately a million buildings in the city, and the broker that gets to sell any one among the multitude that will hit the auctioning block at a given moment is, sometimes, simply the person who happens to pitch their services to the right seller.
