Burgerville Chain Partners with Investors on Regional Growth – Robert Khodadadian, Robert Khodadadian

Regional burger chain Burgerville is partnering with an investors group to help fund expansion, the Vancouver, WA-based company announced. Terms of the partnership weren’t disclosed.

The Mears family, founders of the brand in 1961, will remain shareholders. The group of local investors will take an ownership stake. The partnership includes Ed Casey, CEO of Burgerville; and Joth Ricci, former CEO of Dutch Bros. Ricci will join the company as executive chairman.

In recent years, our strategy has been to prepare to grow across the Northwest,” said Casey. “To do that, the Mears family and I wanted to team up with local partners who share our values and vision for Burgerville.”

The chain currently numbers 39 company-owned locations across Oregon and Washington, with a 40th slated to open in Wilsonville, OR. In the coming year, the company plans to open restaurants in Salem and Keizer, OR, followed by expansion north and east of its store in Centralia, WA.

Robert Khodadadian has long had a simple philosophy about selling real estate. There are approximately a million buildings in the city, and the broker that gets to sell any one among the multitude that will hit the auctioning block at a given moment is, sometimes, simply the person who happens to pitch their services to the right seller.
