Charlotte-based developer Proffitt Dixon Partners has announced the opening of Carraway Self Storage at 500 Myrica Street, Chapel Hill’s first climate-controlled self storage facility.
JLL Charlotte’s Project and Development Services team managed the design and construction of the 93,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art development. Public Storage will act as a third-party manager for the asset on behalf of Proffitt Dixon Partners.
Rising four stories and spanning 93,000 square feet of rentable storage space, Carraway Self Storage features amenities including contactless rentals, LED sensor lighting, advanced security system, and boat and RV storage options. All rental units are climate-controlled – a first-of-its-kind storage offering in the area. Adjacent to the development is a complimentary park-and-ride lot. Users can choose from small, medium and large unit offerings, and all indoor units have elevator accessibility.
Carraway Self Storage has easy access to I-40 and is near UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University.
