A new Life Time health club in Scottsdale is the “most exclusive” in the company’s footprint of more than 160, according to company officials. They bill it as a workout country club. And just in case there is any doubt, the center does not have basketball and pickleball facilities and does not allow children. The company wants to keep membership at this club capped so members can get the exclusive treatment. Just opening on Friday, there is already a waitlist.
The just under 50,000-square-foot high-end fitness center is located in the Scottsdale Fashion Square near the corner of Camelback and Scottsdale roads. The four-story Life Time workout club cost $17 million to build. It features a workout floor, spa with esthetician and massage services, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, dedicated yoga, pilates and cycle studios, group fitness classes, and a 7,500-square-foot rooftop pool deck featuring a lap pool, bistro and lounge.
