Moroccan-Style Hotel Headed for Denver’s LoHi District – Robert Khodadadian

Urban Green Development is planning a 35-room hotel/restaurant in Denver’s Lower Highland (LoHi) district. Called Raha, which means “rest” in Arabic, the Denver Business Journal reports it would take up one of the last vacant parcels in LoHi.

The new hotel will include a 2000-square-foot restaurant and lobby bar on the lower level of the building. Above that level will be three stories of hotel rooms, as well as a rooftop patio. Urban Green plans to break ground on Raha by the end of the year, and plans to open the hotel to guests following approximately two years of construction. Urban Green says the total budget for the project is approximately $23 million, funded through lender First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) and private partners.

Denver-based Coesivo Design Group is the interior designer of the project, the architect is Denver-based Neostudio and the general contractor is Denver-based Schneider Building Company.

Robert Khodadadian has long had a simple philosophy about selling real estate. There are approximately a million buildings in the city, and the broker that gets to sell any one among the multitude that will hit the auctioning block at a given moment is, sometimes, simply the person who happens to pitch their services to the right seller.
