SDSU Selects LPC West to Develop New Office Trio Mark Nieto on March 7, 2023 at 7:41 pm – Robert Khodadadian

Los Angeles-based builder Lincoln Property Company (LPC) West has been selected by San Diego State University to erect a trio of at the school’s Mission Valley Campus according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The three-building development, located just south of Snapdragon Stadium, will encompass 310,000 square feet of office, lab and amenity space plus 1,100 parking stalls. LPC West has already secured lease commitments for nearly half of the space. One of the buildings is slated to feature amenities that include a gym, cafe and co-working facilities, and will be constructed with mass timber for both aesthetic and environmental reasons.

LPC West has designated Swinerton as its general contractor for the project, with Lever, Ferguson Pape Baldwin and James Corner Field Operations as architects. SDSU expects to eventually move most of its research operations to Mission Valley in order to make more room for students on the main campus.
